Meet Kim

Kim Wu is an Acupuncturist licensed in California, and received her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Oakland at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in 2012. In January 2017, she enrolled in a Doctoral program for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture to further her education in Orthopedic Acupuncture and classical Chinese Medicine. She also holds a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida, and has worked for over 15 years in a geriatric setting.   Her combination of western and eastern studies and her background in healthcare, enables her to have a unique perspective of the aging process and a keen ability to work with others to achieve their optimum health, wellness, and recovery. She has been providing Acupuncture in the East Bay for a Worker’s Comp clinic, a Community Acupuncture clinic, as well as private practice. Further, she is a new addition to the Health Center at PG&E San Francisco as their Acupuncturist. She is an avid baker in her free time, enjoys gardening,  walking her dog, and regularly plays piano for seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Kim also frequently supports and attends art, music, local and cultural events.
